Multipurpose wine glasses at an affordable price
Pleasantly surprised with these wine glasses. Look good. Right size. Looks perfect for white wine and accommodates red wine as well. So, versatile. Washes by hand or machine and no breakage after multiple usages. Nice weight– not too heavy, not too flimsy. price is excellent

While the glasses appeared to be well packaged, 2 of the 12 were broken on delivery. I contacted Amazon and they shipped replacements arriving the next day (and instead of shipping 2 replacement glasses, they shipped another dozen!).Now to the glasses, they aren’t fine crystal, but for the price is that what you really expect? These are everyday stemware glasses, and while I wanted them for a diner party and plan to serve white wine in them, I’ve seen similar glasses used for red – not a big deal unless you’re very worried about what your guests may say.At this price I’m not going to mind if a guest accidentally drops a glass, things happen – it’s more important to me that my guests feel comfortable and that the glasses serve their purpose. That fact that they look nice, fit the hand nicely, and complement the table is all the better.

Perfect design & size! don’t know how they are manufactured, but they look hand-blown
After breaking several of my mother-in-law’s Waterford wineglasses (exotic, dazzling…but not elegant), I was compelled to find a reasonable replacement that my wife & I could use while entertaining or just watching TV – and which we could run through the dishwasher. I had become a rather harsh critic by the time I discovered this exact glass: “UMI UMIZILI 12 Ounce – Set of 6, All-Purpose Classic Durable Red/White Wine Glasses”. Until you have seen one, my description will seem an exaggeration: the shape and size is exquisitely beautiful! We have shattered a few by dropping them to the floor, but I have never broken one while drying it. My wife’s favorite remarks: “As per classic wineglass design, they are 12oz. glasses made to hold 5oz. of wine to their fullest curvature. They are not tasters, and they are not Reidel fishbowls.” My best critique: They have been through the dishwasher 40 to 50 times – and they look brand-new! Did I mention they are very inexpensive and very resilient?

Good quality glasses. One arrived broken with noticeable damage to the inner box which contained the glasses, but no damage to the outer Amazon box in which it was shipped, so it obviously left the warehouse like this.
