Beautiful Shelf, Excellent Quality & Easy To Install
I was looking for a floating shelf to use for creating a small memorial space in my 93 year-old dad’s apartment honoring my Mother. I had initially seen this set of shelves and thought it would be perfect with the clear front lip but passed on it because I really wanted a “real” wood shelf. However, after ordering 3 different “real” wood sets none of them were right for one reason or another mostly simply because of quality or appearance issues. While I only needed a single shelf I came back to this set. The price was right and I decided to order them. I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance. I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous about installation and drilling holes into his apartment wall. I was concerned I would not hit a stud and went to the hardware store to purchase secure different screw bolts to avoid the possibility of it leaning forward. I’m a 64 year-old woman and had not attempted anything like this before. What if I messed it up and had to redrill?All in all the installation went surprisingly well. I do have to comment that I was not able to get the underneath screw that goes through the bottom of the shelf into the bottom whole on the extended support pole all the way in. Thankfully the shelf is low enough and you cannot see the partial screw sticking out and the shelf is in fact very secure and will not slide off. I was super impressed with the the transparent acrylic front. This was the main draw initially since I would be placing my Mother’s ashes on the shelf and did not want an obstructed view or for them to accidentally be knocked off. The clear front was in perfect condition with no scratches. It was easy to install with the decorative screws that hold it in place are secure and add a nice finishing touch.I’m extremely pleased and impressed with the quality and appearance of the shelf and not at all sad it’s not “real” wood. Most importantly, my dad is over-the-moon happy with the end result of the Memorial space we created!

These are easy to install, look great when up, and can hold a decent amount of weight. However, some of the paint was chipped off when I received them.
